Aw crap, I just wrote a whole bunch and freaking blogger erased it during spell check. OK, long story short. Me and Stacy were in the freaking boonies of Maine, hell we couldn't even pick up the news on the radio for a minute. Now, we are heading to Nova Scotia and have even gotten a hotel room with internet. Next update? Who knows. I'll post more when I know.

Not currently in the US, will update upon my return...

Hey guys, I forgot to post that I'll be out of town for about two weeks. I'm on a trip all around. New England, Canada, Nova Scotia, NewOrleans.... all the hell over. I'll post the story, the pictures and the arrest details upon my return.

My new car!

OK, enough keeping the few of you who don't know yet in the dark. Four days ago, after many agonizing days I had come to this decision. Buy an Acura TSX, a fairly expensive yet very nice, dependable, cool looking, four door sports sedan with great gas mileage and a really sweet navigation system or a Nissan 350Z, a sweet two seat roadster (a car with only two seats that is a convertible) that rocked out.
Three days ago I decided to go with the 350Z. I said to hell with being practical.

Yes I don't have a garage.

Yes I don't have a second car for the winter.

Yes I'm 6'2 and a roadster is not the most comfortable for me.

Yes it eats gas, premium gas, like there is no tomorrow at $2.50 a gallon.

Yes, I don't really need the huge, HUGE car payments coupled with the high insurance rates.

YES, I FOUND A BRIGHT RED ONE, NEGOTIATED THE PRICE I WANTED OVER THE PHONE AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO GO BUY MY CAR ON WEDNESDAY THE 13TH OF JULY, 2005.

So what happened? I went on a test drive of the BMW Z4 first and bought it on the spot. Yup, I love the car that much. Ladies and gentlemen, my new ride:

What do you think? Click on the picture for the link to the rest of them. It is awesome, right? Fully loaded inside, the only thing I didn't get was the bigger engine, but the one I have is plenty big for me. Especially when it only takes premium and I can watch the dial move down as I drive. To think, I was going to buy a Toyota Prius to save money on gas. HA!

Well, I've been driving around the last few days and not getting enough sleep, so this is a short update. Let me know what you think of my new car by emailing me.
Wait, before I go a riddle:

What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?

VS

On the porcupine, the pricks are on the outside.

After yesterdays update with the BMW emblem, you bastards wouldn't stop emailing me with that joke, so here it is, get it out of your system now and I'll give you a ride in my car later!

New car?

Well, I said I'd post my new car today, but first, here is a picture of poor old Ramon.

Ramon: 1992-2005

This death notice may be a bit premature, as my friend Ken is still working on him, but the future doesn't look bright and either way My new car has been the center of my attention for a few days now. What is it you ask? Hmmm, well, here is a hint.

R.I.P. Ramon

Arrrghh, some shit has happened to me in the last week that has kept me super busy. Mainly my car Ramon finally died on me. After 190,000 miles his transmission bit the dust. I'm looking into getting him fixed but it looks like it won't be worth it. I was holding out for the Pontiac Solstice but they are sold out for this year and won't have more until February. Since I need a car now, it won't work out for me. I'm super lucky because Jolene is out of town until August so I have a car to use to get to work and back and I'm not stranded. Since I will be out of town next week until August myself I thought about getting a car when I returned to find a better deal, but I said the heck with it and got a car. What kind of car you ask? Well, it's a surprise. When I get some pictures of it, I'll post. I will say this though, it is not a practical car, nope not practical at all...
In the meantime, check Chris' review of Fantastic Four.
