Like I said, Temporary...
Well, it was too good to last forever! After getting out of one crappy training for my job, I'm in another.
Here I am in Texas for about 7 months going to class to get up to speed for the new job. Having the new job is cool, but having to be in class sucks. I think I am really ready to be done with "learning" as it is, but I just don't seem to reach that point.
I remember a few years ago, I was at something or another and the guest speaker was telling us that we never stop learning. He was right, no matter what you do in life, you are always absorbing new information. I guess I feel like it's been like that for me a little to much. I just want to sit down and DO something, not learn, learn, learn about doing stuff.
I guess I'm just burned out a little. I also guess I got use to my friends back in Maryland and am feeling a little blue about being in another new town, having to make more new friends. Not to mention the fact that I ABSOLUTELY miss my "girls", yes all three of them!
Those of you that know me, know that I don't make friends easily, so when I do, I value them!
Anyway, I'll just keep on, keeping on I guess. Maybe I'll buy a new pinball machine to cheer myself up!
